A dedication ceremony for the Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex is set for 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. Join the JU softball family as it honors and recognizes the contributions made for this project.
The first project of the athletics pillar under Jacksonville University’s $85 million ASPIRE campaign, the complex consists of a softball team and office building, and a covered hitting pavilion.
The 2,300-square-foot office building is steps away from the JU softball field and is located in the heart of the Valley between Oak Hall and Swisher Gymnasium.
Parking for the ceremony is available in front of Swisher Gym. For information, call (904) 256-7400.
What a fantastic couple! Fred and Debbie are genuine people with a True Love of Jacksonville University. Their very generous contribution to our Softball program will put the Dolphins on the National Sports map in this outstanding sport. Thanks for ALL you have done for Jacksonville University for so many years!!! Go Dolphins!
Congratulations to the Pruitt family! I am so happy for them. I couldn’t think of two more special people in the world. I remember my days at JU and when I would see them they were always smiling and happy people. The field/complex will always have great karma around it because Debbie and Fred are full of great positive energy. I wish nothing but the best to the JU Softball program. Go Dolphins!
