Updates to JU holiday break power interruptions schedule

JU Community, 

There has been a change in the scheduling of some power interruptions during the holiday break on Wednesday and Thursday,  Dec. 19 and 20, to accommodate preventive maintenance and repairs to the campus electrical system. 

Here is the revised schedule; times are approximate and may be extended if necessary: 

Wednesday, 12/19, 8:00 a.m. – Noon, Power Circuit 40:  Welcome Center/Merrill Entrance, Terry Concert Hall, Gooding, Howard, Nelms, Athletic Fields/scoreboard, Athletic Field House, Apartments 1 thru 4, River House, Pool, Baseball Offices, Rowing Center, MSRI
 
Wednesday, 12/19, Noon – 4:00 p.m., Power Circuit 50:  Kinne Center, Chapel, Swisher Library/South, Baseball Field lights, Softball Field, Dolphin Green, Main lift station
 
Thursday, 12/20, 8:00 a.m.- Noon, Power Circuit 80:  Botts and Williams Residence Hall Complexes, Traffic Booth South 

Thursday, 12/20, Noon – 4:00 p.m., Power Circuit 70:  Swisher Theatre, Dance Studio, Phillips Fine Arts, Swisher Gymnasium, Council, Founders, Davis Commons, Swisher Library/North, Swisher Science, Merritt Penticoff, Reid  

There may also be sporadic and unannounced interruptions in systems and services due to other maintenance work across the campus. If you need additional information regarding the power outages or have questions about a particular facility, please contact Physical Plant at extension 7550.
