Times-Union spotlights Top Secret Band; JU’s Phillip Milano is lead vocalist

The Florida Times-Union’s Tuesday, July 2, edition has a huge Life section spread on the Top Secret Band, which features JU Director of News and Publications Phillip Milano as lead vocalist.

Nine men ranging in age from 51 to 62 – all with day jobs outside the music industry – make up the new horn-based rock ‘n’ roll ensemble.

“The reason we are all doing this is primarily just to have fun,” Milano said in the T-U.

Here is the Times-Union feature.

The Top Secret Band will perform at 4:30 p.m. July 4 at Stars and Stripes at the Seawalk, a holiday oceanfront festival in the heart of Jacksonville Beach between Beach Boulevard and First Avenue North.
