Swisher Gym A/C project under way Sept. 16

A project begins Monday, Sept. 16 to replace the Swisher Gymnasium chiller.  A temporary chiller, mounted on a trailer flatbed, will be installed Friday, Sept. 20, on the shuffleboard pad next to the outdoor basketball courts behind the gym.

The temporary chiller will remain in operation through Nov. 1; the nearby outdoor basketball courts will remain available for use during this time.

A new permanent chiller will be installed from Oct. 23 to Oct. 30. During that period, gym’s east walkway and stairway (between the gym and Phillips Fine Arts) will be closed due to construction, and the gym’s west walkway and stairway will remain open.
