Stunning JU 2013 Aquarian magazine now available!

The spectacular 2013 Aquarian, Jacksonville University’s literary and arts magazine, has arrived, with copies available in the Council Building lobby.
This year’s 118-page publication is edited by Lauren Michelle Tidwell, with assistant editors Arelis Resto and Ashley Rodriguez. Faculty advisor is Dr. Sarah Murphy, Associate Professor of English.
(See a photo gallery of just a few of the stunning pages below. To see the current Aquarian, click here, and be sure to hover your mouse in the upper and lower righthand corners to turn pages.)
Students are encouraged to submit their creative works to the Aquarian. Contributors submit up to five entries per media, as long as it is original work and the rights are not held by another publication.
The staff of the Aquarian is made up of JU students and a faculty advisor. The Aquarian is non-profit and distributed free every spring.
This year’s cover design and illustration was by Ali Pordeli.
Content in the Aquarian is in two forms: Creative writing (poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, screenplays, playscripts and more) and visual arts (painting, printmaking, drawing, graphic design, metalworking, ceramics, glass, mixed media, film, animation and more). 3D submissions are presented in photographed form.   For more information, email aquarian@jacksonville.edu or visit http://aquarian.ju.edu.
