Riverview Cafe, Chick-fil-A Grand Openings set for Monday, Aug. 26!

Jacksonville University’s campus community is invited to attend the Grand Opening of the new Riverview Cafe at the Kinne University Center and the new Chick-fil-A in Davis Student Commons.

President Tim Cost will host the openings, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Davis Student Commons, and following shortly thereafter at the Kinne Center. “Be Our Guest” free Chick-fil-A cards will be handed out as well.

An extensive dining remodeling process – the culmination of student surveys –  was undertaken of the Riverview Cafe, which will include Mongolian Wok-style service to go with several popular dining options.



The restaurant icon Chick-fil-A was chosen through student surveys to replace Nellie’s, and a convenience store and smoothie bar are being added.
