The Jacksonville University football team is hosting a “Green Out” as it hosts Butler in a pivotal Pioneer Football League match-up at noon Saturday, Sept. 28. Fans are encouraged to wear green to the game in support of the Dolphins, which have racked up 69 points – more than any team in the nation – in each of the last two games.
Students and faculty receive free admission and can pick tickets up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, outside the Kinne Center.
The Dolphins’ high-powered offense, which ranks fourth in the nation with an average of 46.5 points per game, will be matched up against a Butler team that was picked to finish second in the Pioneer Football League preseason coaches’ poll.
