Francophones plan plenty of activities for French Week celebration

No passport? No problem! French Week is on its way to campus and bringing lots of cultural activities and food with it.

Jacksonville University’s French classes are pairing up with the Le Cercle Francophone French Club for this annual celebration that offers multiple events from Nov. 4-8 that will provide fun for everyone.

One new and exciting aspect of this year’s French Week is that the French Department teamed up with Phin Communications, JU’s student-run advertising agency.

Olivia Dougherty, Phin Comm’s Chief Strategy Officer, led the team’s French Week efforts.

“Working on French Week was a great first experience with Phin Comm, and I’m excited to see the end results,” she said. “I hope that the French Department benefits from our hard work.”

Make sure to stop by each of the French Week events and earn a chance to win a gift card. For more exciting updates about French Week and the gift card raffle, you can follow Phin Communications on Instagram @phin_comm, and the French Department @frenchatju for a French Week Instagram takeover. Au revoir!

Here is a peek at some of the French Week events.
