Chick-fil-A, recycling, River House and more were on tap at Presidential Office Hours April 25

Another “Presidential Open Office Hours” for JU students, faculty and staff brought President Tim Cost a variety of healthy discussion topics, ideas and suggestions, but it had a twist this time: free Chick-fil-A and smoothies doled out to the packed crowd at Nellie’s.

The session on Thursday, April 25, included robust dialogue on everything from a River House rehab, a new College of Health Sciences building, College of Fine Arts renovations, a new student veterans gathering spot and scholarship money to recycling, campus ATMs, library resources and even laundry issues.

JU Trustee Matt Kane ’01 made an appearance to address questions as well.

Cost said he welcomed the comments, and he especially applauded the students’ leadership and dedication for showing up and adding to the conversation to improve Jacksonville University.
