Beta Gamma Sigma inducts new members, honors Keigwin, Brigham

The Jacksonville University Beta Gamma Sigma chapter inducted its new members and honored local business leaders Henry “Jack” Keigwin and Robert F. Brigham at is annual induction ceremony March 8 at the Davis College of Business.

Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honor society recognizing business excellence. Keigwin is a JU Board of Trustees member and chief executive officer of Sound Point Asset Management, and Brigham is chief administrative officer of Mayo Clinic in Florida, were inducted as honorary members into the honor society.

Election to lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest honor a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate or master’s program at a school accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. With more than 580,000 members worldwide, the society’s membership comprises the brightest and best of the world’s business leaders.

Undergraduate inductees into the honor society are in the top 10 percent of their class; graduate students are in the top 20 percent of their class. The annual Beta Gamma Sigma scholarship awardee is Jamaica native Nicholas Clarke, who is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in accounting.
