Ready? Set … DASH!

The world moves fast. For five days, Jacksonville University moves faster. Dolphin Dash, Jacksonville University’s competitive new giving challenge, is next week: February 22-26.

Dolphin Dash allows donors to impact the areas of campus that have impacted them the most. This year there are six unique challenges that will allow Dolphins to support the area of campus that is most meaningful to them. Incentives for each challenge could turn a $10 gift into a $10,000 gift.

“We started Dolphin Dash in 2017 as an athletics giving campaign and went from roughly 300 donors a year to over 1,700 in a week,” explained Scott Bacon, Senior Vice President. “Now we are expanding Dolphin Dash to the entire campus and cannot wait to see the results. The Dolphin family has the opportunity to come together in this fun and competitive campaign to create brighter futures for our students.”

Mark your calendar and plan to Give Forward to your favorite college, athletics team, or Greek organization. Your participation could help them win extra funding for their program! Alumni who make a gift early can even help their college secure the Barnes & Noble Alumni Fast Start prize of $5,000. 

If you select the Black Alumni Network Challenge, your gift will help unlock funding to endow the Black Alumni Network Scholarship. The GOLD Phin Challenge will support JU’s Greatest Needs, and each donor to this challenge will have a chance to win an iPad Mini. The Parents & Family Challenge will allow participants to choose the class year of a current student; each class is competing for the opportunity to enjoy a unique drive-in movie experience on campus.
