Jacksonville University’s 2013 Homecoming and Family Weekend Oct. 25-27 — themed “Take Me To The River” — had a little bit of everything, for everyone:

- Tours of campus including updates on the re-imagined River House and soon-to-open SVA student veterans study center (see http://www.ju.edu/alumni/Pages/Wave-Magazine.aspx)
- Wilma’s Little People’s School 40th Anniversary (see http://waveweekly.ju.edu/?p=11640)
- A rout of Davidson by the JU Dolphins at D.B. Milne Field (see http://www.judolphins.com/news/default/303/17984/)
- A student Mock Rock and impromptu dance party at the Larry Strom Amphitheatre
- An Alumni Bash with the Top Secret Band (including a visit by the Blues Brothers)
- Naming of JU’s top alumni for 2013 (see http://waveweekly.ju.edu/?p=12473)
- The annual Regatta at the Negaard Rowing Center
- All capped off with a huge fireworks display over the St. Johns River.
