JU Prof. Jack Turnock judges St. Augustine Art Association Honors Show

JU Prof. Jack Turnock

Jack Turnock, Jacksonville University associate professor of art, judged the St. Augustine Art Association’s annual Honors Show, which is on display through July 20.

The St. Augustine Record reported  that the exhibition consisted of 80 entries by artists who have won awards during the past three years at the St. Augustine Art Association. Yolanda Bosworth of St. Augustine won best of show for her  mixed media sculpture, “The Light is Out — Medical Science Gone Awry.”

“There were many beautiful and powerful images and ideas,” Turnock told the Record. “The overall craftsmanship in this exhibit should make the artists and the Art Association very proud.”
