Jacksonville University Division of Music Chair Tommy Harrison previews Brazilian pianist Arnoldo Cohen’s upcoming performances with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra in the April 3 edition of The Florida Times-Union.
Cohen will be performing three pieces of Edvard Grieg’s “Piano Concerto” with the Symphony, under the direction of Fabio Mechetti, April 4-6.
“Cohen’s reputation as a passionate and fiery performer is perfect for this weekend’s repetoire,” Harrison wrote.
The Symphony also will also perform Henry Dutilleux’s “Metaboles” and Maurice Ravel’s “La Valse.”
