JU College of Fine Arts presents free “The Art of Clarinet” concert Nov. 3

The JU College of Fine Arts Performing Arts Series presents a free “The Art of Clarinet” concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in Terry Concert Hall. The concert on the JU campus at 2800 University Blvd. N. is open to the public.

The program will feature members of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra in works by Mozart, Mahler, Kibbe, Jacob, Gershwin and Lockhart. Performers include Peter Wright, Marci Gurnow, Bruce Marking, Artie Clifton and Rachel Clifton. The concert finale will feature the Jacksonville Festival Clarinet Choir, a group of student and community players who will perform several selections with the JSO clarinet quartet.
