JU Davis College of Business Dean Don Capener weighs in in a Wednesday, Sept. 25, Florida Times-Union article about Professional Placement Resources, or PPR Talent Management Group (http://www.pprtmg.com), a Jacksonville Beach business that has been listed No. 1 as the best small business workplace in America by Fortune magazine.
Fortune website greatplacetowork.com ranked PPR as the best small workplace in the country, touting its casual work setting and beach location as two factors.
Capener said while there are many such lists, the Fortune rankings carry weight.

Capener said PPR obviously will celebrate the top ranking. There’s inherent marketing and employee recruitment value to such recognition. But Capener said the Jacksonville business community at large can develop momentum with that kind of recognition.
