JU alum Earnie Franklin to head Mayor Alvin Brown’s public-private office

Congratulations to JU alum Earnie Franklin, who has been tapped to head Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown’s Office of Public-Private Partnerships.

Franklin, a 2003 JU Davis College of Business EMBA grad, has been president and CEO of Florida Blue subsidiary Incepture Inc.

According to an Aug. 13, 2013, Florida Times-Union article and a Mayor’s Office news release, Franklin will work to boost Jacksonville’s partnerships with private and nonprofit organizations.

“He has a distinguished career in health care, with a strong background in strategic planning, business transformation and project management. I look forward to working with him,” Brown said in a statement.
