JU alum Donnie Horner III profiled nationally for his MS activist role

JU alum Donnie Horner III, a U.S. Navy Officer who changed careers after a devastating diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, is profiled as an MS activist in the Spring 2013 edition of Momentum, the magazine of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Horner, son of Dr. Donald Horner, a JU management professor now on sabbatical and working as Jacksonville’s Education Commissioner, returned to college at Jacksonville University and received an MBA in 2011. He is now vice president for business development for MainOcean Port Services in Jacksonville.

“While each day poses its own challenges, I’m always hopeful for a better tomorrow,” Horner is quoted in the article.
