He’s everywhere: Jacksonville University dancer Carlos Garland appears live on Fox 30 twice this week

Now that his run on “So You Think You Can Dance” is over and he has caught up on his sleep, Jacksonville University dance sensation Carlos Garland is able to reflect on his stint in the national limelight.

The biggest surprise about his top-20 finish on the popular Fox television show?

“How nice everyone is and how supportive everyone was of each other – because we were in the same boat,” he said of his competitors in a live interview Tuesday, July 9 on WAWS-TV Fox 30.

Bound in late July for New York to pursue a professional dance career, Garland said the experience was “excruciatingly painful and tiring and exciting all at the same time.”

Garland returned to Fox 30’s morning show Wednesday, July 10 to discuss Tuesday night’s “So You Think You Can Dance” performances — and he performed, to boot! Here’s the clip:
