What: Jacksonville Southeastern Fall Invitational College Scholastic Clay Target Program Shoot, hosted by Jacksonville University and Scholastic Clay Target Program. This is a 150-target event.
When: Oct. 27, 2012. Registration between 8-9 a.m. Shooting begins at 9:15 a.m. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. Shoot-offs start at 3:30 p.m., with awards to follow.
Cost: $25 per shooter (must be a current college student). Covers targets and lunch. Make checks payable to Jacksonville Skeet & Trap Club. Bring your own shells or purchase at JAX Gun Club.
Details: Events include American Skeet (50 targets), American Trap (50 targets) and International Wobble Trap (50 targets). The International Skeet Field will be open for practice (first-come, first served), and the 5-Stand will be open for practice (first come, first-served). All are 12 gauge events, but any smaller gauge may be used. No shot size larger than 7.5, and no load larger than 1-1/8 ounce (32 gram).
Trophies: Team Champion, Runner-Up and Third; Individual Event Winners (Mens and Ladies); and Individual HOA Champion, Runner-Up and Third (Men’s and Ladies).
