Glass-blowing exhibit to be co-hosted by JU alums Kirin Hale, Helen Cowart Sept. 21-29; profiled in Folio Weekly

Jacksonville University alums Kirin Hale and Helen Cowart are co-hosting a juried exhibit, “Through the Fire: Glass, Clay & Metal,” Sept. 21-29 at CoRK Arts District’s East Gallery, 2689 Rosselle St., in Jacksonville’s Riverside area.

The artists and the exhibit, which will be judged by JU associate glass Prof. Brian Frus, are featured in the Sept. 11-17 edition of Folio Weekly. The show’s website says the exhibit is open to “any art created with high temperatures including glass, clay, metal, soldering, welding and other art formed from fire.”
