Congratulations to November JU Employee of the Month David Brown

Congratulations to November JU Employee of the Month David Brown, first-shift supervisor for the Department of Campus Security. Brown has worked at JU for 11 years.

“David possesses a servant’s heart, which is evidenced in his interactions with others and his commitment to doing what is right in the interest of the University, the Department of Campus Security, and most importantly the individuals who are our customers …” Director of Campus Security Gordon Bass Jr. said in nominating Brown. “He knows what needs to be done, when it has to be completed, and he sets out to accomplish daily assignments with enthusiasm and exemplary eecution, setting the example fo rother officers.”

Bass also said Brown adapts to change well, volunteers for special assignments, and works on his regular days off as needed.

“In other words, David is committed to our University and often goes above and beyond what is required of him in order to make a positive difference,” Bass said.

JU employees of the month receive a $50 cash award, an extra day off, an award certificate signed by the JU President, and reserved parking for a month.
