Congratulations to March JU Employee of the Month Beth Lantz

Congratulations to March JU Employee of the Month Beth Lantz, administrative assistant for Serving Learning and the Center for Teaching and Learning.

“I have had several dealings with Beth and have found her to be extremely helpful, and she goes out of her way to ensure that a quality job has been done,” Dr. Richard Murphy, assistant professor of marketing, said in his nomination of Lantz for the award.

Lantz’s supervisors and Dr. Quinton White of the Employee Recognition Committee surprised her with the award on Monday, March 10.

Lantz’s first course of action upon receiving the award was to make arrangements to give her prime employee-of-the-month parking spot to a colleague who has difficulty walking.

JU employees of the month receive a $50 cash award, an extra day off, an award certificate signed by the JU president, and reserved parking for a month.
