Bryant Named May Employee of the Month

Admissions Counselor Kelly Bryant has been named Jacksonville University’s May Employee of the Month for outstanding customer-service and commitment to the University.

“Kelly is dedicated to JU,” said Marisol Preston, assistant director of admissions. “Not only does she represent her alma mater with pride at every recruiting event and high school visit, her love for the University can be seen on her face when she speaks with prospective freshman about her time spent here on campus. She is very detail oriented in all of her tasks, which is very important due to the nature of the department that she is in. We recently lost our event coordinator and Kelly has taken on the extra responsibility of doing both her job as an admissions counselor and the job of event coordinator. She has been responsible for handling all the scheduling of daily tours, the student ambassadors, SME Day and any additional duty that comes her way.”

As Employee of the Month, Bryant received a $50 award, an extra vacation day, a certificate signed by the president and a reserved parking spot.
