Major leap in participation at annual Faculty/Staff Health Fair

We would like to thank everyone who came out for the Faculty/Staff Health Fair held last week at the Davis College of Business.  The turnout exceeded expectations, with more than 235 individuals taking part in the health screenings, and many more visiting the vendors.

This represents a 35 percent increase in participation over last year and is a reflection of the expanding interest across the campus in making JU a “Healthy Campus,” our University program to promote health and wellness for students, faculty, staff and alumni. By emphasizing a culture of wellness, JU supports individuals and our community in adopting and maintaining healthy behaviors to improve quality of life.

Congratulation to the winners of the Beach Cruiser bicycles, Dayle Lasonde-Smith in the Davis College of Business and Professor Ben Werung in the College of Arts and Sciences.
