Listen to audio file as “First Coast Connect” radio show highlights JU’s urban literacy efforts

Jacksonville University’s urban literacy efforts were the focus of an extended segment of the “First Coast Connect” show on WJCT public radio on Thursday, Dec. 6.

Dr. Tammy Ryan, Director of Reading for JU, appears at 22:50, along with JU Education majors Joanna Zachowski and Alissa Biagiotti and Master’s candidate Kevin Elmore.

The show focused on the School of Education’s reading lab, which offers free tutoring to youths from the Woodland Acres Boys & Girls Club.
