JU’s Kent-Willette tapped for Florida Associated Press Broadcasters board

Dr. Annmarie Kent-Willette, Jacksonville University associate communications professor

Jacksonville University associate professor of communications Annmarie Kent-Willette has been selected to serve as the higher-education representative on the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters board, which consists of television and radio executives throughout the state.

A former award-winning television journalist, Dr. Kent-Willette is a past JU Woman of the Year and has been recognized for faculty excellence in community service, and she currently serves as the JU Faculty Senate vice chair. She teaches communications and service-learning courses, and has successfully developed and managed strategic communications, public image campaigns and community partnerships for television stations and corporate executives.

The Florida Associated Press Broadcasters conducts an annual seminar, workshop, and statewide contest for professional and collegiate television, radio and online journalists.
