JU One Spark Project #9: The Nimbus Camera mount system

Nimbus is a camera mount system that can be controlled from our mobile app. It currently works with DSLRs we will soon integrate other cameras. In addition you can mount the nimbus to industry standard tripods or our extension system, which can also be programmed or controlled in real time.

What city is your Project based out of?

Gainesville

What sets your Project apart from what is currently available?

The Nimbus is more versatile than any other camera mount on the market. The unit acts as a substitute for a plethora of video production equipment including pan heads, ball heads, sliders, dollys, stabilizers, and steadicams. Additionally our product utilizes state of the art technology that allows the user to control their cameras remotely. Our unit also utilizes image tracking.

Why are you and your team the best people on the planet to handle this Project?

I am a cameraman by trade and last year ESPN ranked me as the top collegiate cameraman in the nation. Additionally nearly every employee at Nawboi Technologies has worked as a camera operator and are extremely avid camera enthusiasts. Additionally our engineers have a great deal of experience with operating media transfer protocol (MTP) which is the technology that our unit will utilize.
