JU College of Health Science’s Teri Chenot to present at the Florida Blue Foundation – 2013 Statewide Nursing Summit Nov. 13

JU College of Health Science’s Teri Chenot, Ed.D., RN, and co-investigator Roberta Christopher, MSN, ARNP, CHTS-CP, Director of Nursing Research and Magnet at UF Health – Jacksonville, have been invited to present at the Florida Blue Foundation – 2013 Statewide Nursing Summit in Tampa Nov. 13, 2013.

The conference theme is Nursing in Florida: Celebrating the Past and Advancing the Future. The purpose of the summit is to empower nurses in every health care setting with the information and contacts needed for them to succeed in their careers and in caring for patients.

Chenot and Christopher are scheduled to present a Pre-Summit Workshop, Taking it to the Next Level: Integrating QSEN (Quality and Safety Education for Nurses) and Magnet to Improve Health Outcomes. They will examine the history, resources, research, competencies and integration of QSEN and Magnet to improve health outcomes.
