Congratulations to August Employee of the Month Zarifa Usmhnova!

Congratulations to August JU Employee of the Month Zarifa Usmhnova of Physical Plant, nominated by Humanities Professor Carole C. Barnett.

In her nomination, Prof. Barnett lauded Ms. Usmhnova for her work in keeping Council Building in tip-top shape:

“She keeps the Council Building cleaner than it has ever been in my memory, and she takes such pride in her work … . She even dusts our picture frames! She knows that some of us come in early and on several occasions has even started the coffee pot for us. She has also endeared herself to us by sometimes bringing homemade baked goods! I don’t want to brag on her too much as we want to keep her with us! She exemplifies what JU is all about and pride in our campus. She is friendly to students, and they even know her now. It is not unusual for her to check to make sure that we are satisfied with her job. Although she does not speak English that well, she is learning and always is so eager to be of service!”
