JU’s Champs of Chopsticks and Chicken Consumption!

Sodexo not only offered a variety of culinary delights at its Asian Street Market on Friday, Jan. 18, at Jacksonville University’s Riverview Cafe, it served up some fun and games, too.

First, contestants raced the clock to determine who was most skilled at using chopsticks; then, competitiors had five minutes each to eat as much Szechuan chicken as possible. JU Bookstore gift cards and bragging rights were on the line.

The winners: junior marine science major Kennan Carpenter of Hopkinsville, Ky., proved to have the best chopsticks talent, while freshman biology major James Trebilcock devoured the most wings.
